Earlier this morning, online music startup Spotify announced on its blog a new iPhone application.
There is a video showing how the application works and I must say it looks very promising. I think the killer feature will be the “Offline Playlists” that will let you cache music while you have a wireless connection and then listen to it wherever you are.
Mobile access will only be available to premium members, so this will be a nice incentive for users who haven’t signed up for a paid plan yet. The iPhone app has just been submitted to the Apple app store and we’re all eager to see if it will be accepted.
